The Diodes Incorporated B340B-13-F is a surface-mount Schottky barrier rectifier with a 40V peak repetitive reverse voltage and a 3A average rectified output current. Its maximum forward voltage drop is 0.50V at 3A and 25°C, helping reduce conduction losses and improve efficiency in low-voltage, high-current power circuits.
The device incorporates guard-ring die construction for enhanced transient protection and supports a 100A non-repetitive peak forward surge current. It operates over a junction-temperature range of −55°C to +150°C and is suitable for power-supply rectification, DC-DC converters, low-voltage high-frequency inverters, freewheeling circuits and reverse-polarity protection.
The B340B-13-F is supplied in an SMB surface-mount package with maximum outline dimensions of approximately 5.59 × 3.94 × 2.50mm. It features lead-free matte-tin terminals, RoHS-compliant construction and an MSL 1 rating. The “-13-F” version is supplied on tape and reel with 3,000 devices per reel for automated assembly.
