The Texas Instruments LMZ10501SILR is a compact SIMPLE SWITCHER® synchronous step-down DC/DC power module integrating the power switches and inductor. It operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V input range and supports up to 1A continuous output current, making it suitable for point-of-load conversion from 3.3V and 5V rails and other space-constrained applications. TI currently lists the exact LMZ10501SILR as Active Production.
The output voltage is adjustable from 0.6V to 3.6V, and the converter operates at a fixed 2MHz PWM switching frequency. With its integrated inductor and internal compensation, a basic design requires only five external components: an input capacitor, output capacitor, VCON filter capacitor, and two feedback resistors.
TI specifies efficiency of up to 95%. Under one specified test condition, peak efficiency reaches 95% at VIN = 5V, VOUT = 3.3V, and IOUT = 200mA; full-load efficiency is 91% typical at VIN = 5V, VOUT = 3.6V, and IOUT = 1A.
Integrated protection features include current-limit-based soft start, current overload protection, thermal shutdown, and input undervoltage lockout for power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions. TI lists a typical switch-current limit of approximately 1.35A, which is a protection threshold rather than the continuous load-current rating.
The exact LMZ10501SILR is supplied in an 8-pin µSIP package measuring approximately 3.0 × 2.6mm with the inductor integrated inside the module. Junction temperature range is -40°C to +125°C. TI’s July 15, 2026 package addendum lists the SILR version in 3,000-piece large tape-and-reel packaging.
