The Texas Instruments MSP430AFE253IPWR is an ultra-low-power mixed-signal microcontroller designed for metering and precision measurement applications. It features a 16-bit MSP430 RISC CPU operating at up to 12MHz, along with 16KB Flash memory and 512B RAM, making it suitable for energy meters, monitoring equipment, sensing systems and low-power data acquisition.
A key feature of the MSP430AFE253 is its integration of three independent 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs with differential PGA inputs, enabling high-resolution acquisition of voltage, current and other analog signals.
