The ICE2PCS01G from Infineon is a standalone Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) Power Factor Correction controller from the second-generation ICE2PCS0x/G family. Based on BiCMOS technology and average-current control, it is designed for active PFC stages in AC-DC switched-mode power supplies while requiring relatively few external components.
The controller provides a programmable switching-frequency range of 50kHz to 250kHz and a typical maximum duty cycle of 95% at 125kHz and 25°C. Its internal reference is trimmed to 3V, while external current-loop and voltage-loop compensation gives designers flexibility in optimizing dynamic response for different PFC power stages.
