The ADP151AUJZ-3.3-R7 from Analog Devices is an ultralow-noise, low-dropout CMOS linear regulator designed to provide a fixed 3.3V output with up to 200mA output current. It operates from an input voltage range of 2.2V to 5.5V and delivers typical output noise of only 9μV RMS, making it suitable for noise-sensitive analog, RF and mixed-signal applications.
With a typical dropout voltage of approximately 135mV at a 200mA load, the ADP151 helps improve power efficiency in low-voltage systems. It offers ±1% initial output accuracy and ±2.5% accuracy across line, load and temperature. Its typical PSRR performance of 70dB at 10kHz helps suppress noise and ripple from upstream power supplies.
The device requires no external noise-bypass capacitor and is stable with small 1μF ceramic input and output capacitors, reducing component count and PCB area. Integrated enable control, current-limit protection and thermal-overload protection improve system reliability. Typical applications include RF circuits, PLL and VCO power supplies, audio devices, digital cameras, portable electronics, battery-powered equipment and post-regulation power rails.
The ADP151AUJZ-3.3-R7 is supplied in a compact 5-lead TSOT package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The R7 suffix indicates tape-and-reel packaging, with a standard packing quantity of 3,000 units per reel. The “Z” suffix identifies the part as RoHS compliant.
