The LITEON LTV-1008-TP1-G is a single-channel phototransistor-output optocoupler from the LTV-10XX-G family. It integrates an infrared LED and a phototransistor to provide galvanic isolation and signal transfer between circuits operating at different electrical potentials. Typical applications include high-density hybrid substrates, programmable controllers, and general isolated interfaces.
The LTV-1008 CTR grade provides a 130% to 260% current transfer ratio at IF = 5mA, VCE = 5V, and TA = 25°C. This defined high-CTR range is useful for feedback and isolated logic-signal applications.
The device provides 5000Vrms input-to-output isolation for one minute and more than 8mm creepage distance. The phototransistor output is rated for 70V collector-emitter voltage and up to 50mA collector current.
Maximum LED forward current is 60mA, with a maximum reverse voltage of 6V. At IF = 50mA, forward voltage is 1.25V typical and 1.6V maximum. Maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage is 0.3V at IF = 10mA and IC = 1mA.
Typical rise and fall times are 3µs and 4.7µs, respectively, under the specified test conditions, with 18µs maximum limits. Typical isolation capacitance is 0.3pF, and minimum isolation resistance is 10¹²Ω.
The device operates from -55°C to +110°C and is rated for 250mW total power dissipation. It uses a 4-pin Long Mini-Flat surface-mount package. In the ordering code, TP1 identifies the tape orientation and G identifies the halogen-free option.
