The MF-MSMF200-2 is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuse manufactured by Bourns. Part of the Multifuse® MF-MSMF series, it is designed to provide overcurrent protection for electronic circuits and help reduce the need for conventional one-time fuses.
This surface-mount device features a 2A hold current, a 4A trip current, and a maximum voltage rating of 8V DC. When an overcurrent condition occurs, its resistance increases to limit current flow. After the fault is removed and the device cools, it can return to a low-resistance state under suitable operating conditions.
