The MPXM2010GST1 from NXP is a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor from the MPX2010 series. It uses a monolithic silicon diaphragm with integrated strain gauges and thin-film resistor networks to provide an accurate and linear analog voltage output directly proportional to applied pressure. The device is laser trimmed for precise span and offset calibration with temperature compensation.
This gauge pressure sensor supports a 0 to 10kPa (0 to 1.45psi) pressure range and provides a ratiometric output relative to the supply voltage. It features a typical sensitivity of approximately 2.5mV/V/kPa and a full-scale output of about 25mV, making it suitable for low-pressure measurement applications requiring high sensitivity.
MPXM2010GST1 integrates temperature compensation circuitry to minimize output variation caused by temperature changes. The device is supplied in a ported MPAK surface-mount package (Case 1320A), providing convenient PCB assembly and reliable mechanical integration.
Typical applications include air movement control, respiratory diagnostics, pressure controllers, pressure switching systems, industrial instrumentation and embedded pressure monitoring equipment.
