The STM32F405RGT6 from STMicroelectronics is a high-performance 32-bit Arm Cortex-M4 microcontroller operating at up to 168MHz. The Cortex-M4 core integrates a single-precision FPU, DSP instruction set and MPU, while ST’s ART Accelerator improves execution performance from embedded Flash memory.

The device provides 1MB of Flash memory and 192KB of SRAM, including 64KB of core-coupled memory (CCM). It also supports up to 4KB of backup SRAM and includes 512 bytes of OTP memory, providing substantial memory resources for real-time control, communications and embedded processing.

Analog peripherals include three 12-bit ADCs operating at up to 2.4MSPS each, with up to 7.2MSPS performance in triple-interleaved mode. The exact STM32F405RG configuration provides up to 16 ADC channels and includes two 12-bit DAC channels.
