The AD9653BCPZ-125 from Analog Devices is a high-performance quad-channel analog-to-digital converter featuring four 16-bit ADC channels with integrated sample-and-hold circuitry. It supports conversion rates of up to 125 MSPS and operates from a single 1.8V supply. Power consumption is approximately 164 mW per channel at 125 MSPS, making it suitable for high-performance applications where power and board space are important.
AD9653BCPZ-125 provides a 650 MHz full-power analog bandwidth and supports a 2.0 V p-p input range, with operation up to 2.6 V p-p. Typical dynamic performance includes 76.5 dBFS SNR at a 70 MHz input with a 2.0 V p-p input span and up to 90 dBc SFDR to Nyquist. Serial LVDS digital outputs help reduce pin count and simplify high-speed PCB routing compared with parallel output architectures.
The device supports SPI configuration, individual channel power-down, standby mode, programmable output clock and data alignment, digital test patterns and multichip synchronization. Supplied in a compact 48-lead LFCSP package, it is suitable for medical ultrasound and MRI systems, high-speed imaging, quadrature and diversity radio receivers, test equipment and multichannel data acquisition applications.
