The Analog Devices ADG419BRMZ-REEL7 is a high-performance SPDT (single-pole, double-throw) precision analog switch manufactured using ADI’s enhanced LC²MOS technology. It combines low power consumption, low on-resistance, low leakage and fast switching for precision analog signal-routing applications.

The ADG419 provides an analog signal range extending from VSS to VDD, allowing both bipolar and unipolar analog signals to be switched. It is fully specified for ±15V dual-supply operation and 12V single-supply operation, while remaining functional with single supplies as low as 5V.

Under ±15V supply conditions, the device offers a typical on-resistance of approximately 25Ω, helping maintain signal integrity and reduce insertion error. Its relatively flat on-resistance profile across the analog input range supports good linearity and low distortion.

The switch features a maximum transition time of approximately 160ns under nominal dual-supply conditions and uses break-before-make switching, disconnecting the active channel before connecting the alternate channel. This helps prevent momentary shorting between signal sources during switching.

Low leakage performance makes the ADG419 suitable for high-impedance and precision measurement circuits. Typical source and drain off-leakage currents are approximately 0.1nA, while typical off isolation reaches approximately 80dB at 1MHz.

The device also features extremely low power dissipation and uses a separate logic supply, allowing convenient interfacing with digital control circuitry.
