The Infineon 1ED3121MU12H is a single-channel EiceDRIVER™ Compact isolated gate driver based on coreless-transformer isolation technology. It provides 5.5A typical peak source and sink current and is designed to drive IGBTs, silicon MOSFETs, and SiC MOSFETs in power systems with switches rated up to 2300V. The device features separate source and sink outputs, allowing independent turn-on and turn-off gate resistors. This version uses separate source/sink outputs rather than an active Miller-clamp output.
The driver is certified to UL 1577 with 5.7kVrms isolation for one minute and supports a functional offset voltage of up to 2300V. It is housed in a 300-mil wide-body PG-DSO-8 package, providing generous spacing for high-voltage power-electronics applications.
Operating ambient temperature is -40°C to +125°C, with junction temperature rated up to +150°C. The output-side operating supply range is 10V to 35V, and switching frequency can reach 1MHz.
