The R1EX25064ATA00I#S0 from Renesas is a 64Kb SPI-compatible serial EEPROM organized as 8192 × 8 bits. It provides reliable nonvolatile storage for configuration parameters, calibration data, identification information and embedded system settings.
The device operates from a wide 1.8V to 5.5V supply range and supports standard SPI Mode 0 and Mode 3 operation. The serial clock frequency reaches up to 5MHz at 2.5V to 5.5V, or up to 3MHz across the 1.8V to 5.5V supply range, enabling easy connection to microcontrollers, processors and embedded control systems.
R1EX25064ATA00I#S0 supports 32-byte page programming with a maximum write cycle time of 5ms. Additional features include write protection and HOLD control. It offers low standby current and provides at least 1,000,000 write cycles at 25°C with data retention of at least 100 years at 25°C.
Supplied in a compact 8-pin TSSOP package, the device operates over an industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. It is suitable for industrial controls, instrumentation, communications equipment, networking products, consumer electronics and embedded data storage applications.
