The STMicroelectronics STM32H725IGK6 is a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller based on the Arm Cortex-M7 core, designed for demanding embedded applications requiring high processing performance, extensive connectivity and advanced analog and graphics capabilities.

The Cortex-M7 CPU operates at frequencies up to 550MHz and integrates a double-precision floating-point unit (DP-FPU), DSP instructions, Memory Protection Unit (MPU), and separate 32KB instruction and 32KB data L1 caches. The architecture delivers up to approximately 1177 DMIPS for compute-intensive real-time applications.

The STM32H725IGK6 integrates 1MB of embedded Flash memory with ECC and a total of 564KB SRAM with ECC, including tightly coupled memory for deterministic real-time code and data execution. Flexible external memory support includes SRAM, PSRAM, SDRAM, NOR/NAND Flash and dual Octo-SPI interfaces with execute-in-place capability.

For graphics and HMI applications, the MCU incorporates the Chrom-ART Accelerator hardware graphics engine and an integrated LCD-TFT controller supporting resolutions up to XGA, reducing CPU workload in graphical user interface applications.
