Its low on-state resistance of 45mΩ maximum per bridge leg at 25°C helps reduce conduction losses and improve overall power efficiency.
The driver supports 5V logic-compatible control inputs and PWM operation up to 10kHz, enabling microcontrollers to control motor direction, speed, and braking functions. Integrated diagnostic outputs provide fault feedback, simplifying system monitoring and motor protection.
Designed for demanding automotive environments, the VNH3SP30TR-E incorporates undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown, thermal shutdown, current limiting, cross-conduction protection, and protection against loss of ground or supply voltage. The device is AEC-Q100 qualified and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
