The LM324PWR from Texas Instruments is a classic quad general-purpose operational amplifier integrating four independent, high-gain, internally frequency-compensated op amps in a single device. It operates from a total supply voltage of 3V to 30V and supports both single- and split-supply configurations, making it suitable for a wide range of analog signal-conditioning applications.

The LM324 provides a typical gain-bandwidth product of 1.2MHz and a typical slew rate of 0.5V/μs. Maximum input offset voltage at 25°C is 7mV, while typical common-mode rejection ratio is 80dB. Typical input voltage-noise density is approximately 35nV/√Hz at 1kHz.

A key feature of the LM324 is an input common-mode range that includes the negative supply rail, making it especially useful in single-supply circuits processing signals close to ground. The output can also swing close to the negative rail, with approximately 5mV typical low-side output headroom, while typical output-current capability is approximately 40mA.
