TOP100YAI Power Integrations TOPSwitch 350V Offline PWM Switcher IC TO-220-3

The TOP100YAI from Power Integrations is a legacy TOPSwitch series offline PWM switcher IC designed for AC-DC power conversion applications. It integrates a high-voltage power switch and PWM control functions into a single device, helping reduce external component count and simplify conventional switch-mode power supply designs.

TOP100YAI features a 350V breakdown voltage, 100kHz switching frequency, 67% maximum duty cycle and a 30W power rating. It supports Boost, Buck, Flyback and Forward power topologies and incorporates current limiting and over-temperature protection to improve reliability under abnormal load and thermal conditions.

Supplied in a through-hole TO-220-3 package, TOP100YAI is suitable for offline power supplies, AC adapters, standby supplies, instrumentation, telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics and industrial power applications. As a legacy TOPSwitch device, it is also suitable for maintenance and replacement of existing power supply designs.
