The STM32F429ZGT6 from STMicroelectronics is a high-performance 32-bit Arm Cortex-M4 microcontroller operating at up to 180MHz. The core integrates a single-precision FPU, DSP instructions and an MPU, while ST’s ART Accelerator™ enables high-performance execution from embedded Flash. Maximum CPU performance reaches approximately 225 DMIPS.

The STM32F429ZG configuration provides 1MB of embedded Flash memory and 256KB of system SRAM, including 64KB of core-coupled memory, plus up to 4KB of backup SRAM. A flexible memory controller supports external SRAM, PSRAM, SDRAM, NOR and NAND memory devices.

For graphics-oriented applications, the MCU integrates an LCD-TFT controller and Chrom-ART Accelerator™ (DMA2D).
