The LM2577SX-ADJ/NOPB from Texas Instruments is an adjustable SIMPLE SWITCHER® step-up switching regulator that integrates the primary power and control functions required for boost conversion. It supports a wide 3.5V to 40V input voltage range and includes an internal 3A NPN power switch capable of withstanding up to 65V, making it suitable for applications requiring an output voltage higher than the input supply.
The LM2577SX-ADJ/NOPB uses current-mode control to improve transient response, line regulation and current limiting. A built-in 52kHz fixed-frequency oscillator eliminates the need for external oscillator components, while the integrated soft-start function helps reduce inrush current during startup.
Integrated protection functions include current limiting, undervoltage lockout and thermal shutdown.
