The TPS54360DDAR from Texas Instruments is a wide-input, nonsynchronous step-down DC-DC converter with an integrated high-side N-channel power MOSFET. It operates from a 4.5V to 60V input and has a 65V absolute-maximum input rating, including the ability to survive load-dump pulses up to 65V under the stated ISO 7637 conditions.

Integrated functions include adjustable undervoltage lockout and hysteresis, internal soft start, accurate cycle-by-cycle current limiting, output-overvoltage protection, frequency foldback, and thermal shutdown. The internal UVLO rising threshold is typically 4.3V.
The TPS54360DDAR is supplied in an 8-terminal DDA HSOIC PowerPAD package measuring approximately 4.9mm × 6.0mm. The exposed thermal pad should be connected to a suitable PCB ground and heat-spreading area. The datasheet specifies a −40°C to +150°C junction-temperature range, while the orderable-part page lists a −40°C to +125°C operating range and MSL 2 classification.
